Culture
In Fischbach, we recommend a visit to the St. Johannes Church with its painted tower from the 17th Century, magnificent stucco works of the choir vault and a beautiful wood relief. And in Bad Toelz there is an infinite number of things to discover: The Franziskanerkloster, the local history museum, the puppet theatre or the Kurhaus with a rich culture program, the historical Toelzer market route or the Kalvarienberg with its Leonhardikapelle and the fantastic view over Bad Toelz as well as the entire Isarwinkel are only some suggestions. One should also take in the traditional, cultural high point of the year: The Leonhardifahrt with the splendorous decorated horse carts, which takes place annually on 6 November.
Recreation and health
In Bad Toelz one finds many wellness and health hotels, most in direct proximity to the Kurpark. The most outstanding of these attractions is surely the Kurhaus with Europe’s largest indoor walking tail. Next door is the well-known Alpamare, which offers a swimming pool with artificial waves as well as sauna and steam baths numerous slides and an indoor surf facility.

Cozy beer gardens and idyllic pastries delight the cyclists. Those who love fresh fish have come to the right place. Trout char, and carp are often fresh from the local fisheries. Those who prefer a heartier meal can enjoy tasty grill specialties and delicious Bavarian. In addition, the light Mediterranean kitchen with pasta and fresh salads can be found on the edge of the trail, just as the native herbs, which move into the regional pots.
